How to post goods issue from project stock in outbound delivery from project stock

Dear all,

I want to post a goods issue from outbound delivery (OBD). I have available quantity in the project stock. I also entered the WBS number in the OBD.

But I get error M7 021 - Deficit of BA Unrestricted-use 2.000 KG : 2000006 5000 SIT 0000000035.

How to tell the system to use the project stock?

Best

Peter

Please carry out the below steps

  1. Check your item category whether it is set to Q against Special Stock field. I presume, it is blank currently and hence, not considering the project stock.
  2. Check the sale order what Requirement Type is flowing.
  3. Go to OVZH and check what Requirement Class is assigned to this Requirement Type.
  4. Go to OVZG and see which Requirement Class is set to "Q"
  5. Finally, you can assign this Requirement Class to your Requirement Type in OVZH

My preference would be to change the item category configuration to consider project stock and needless to say, you need to assign this item category to your sale order type in VOV4

Couple of questions:-

  1. What is the preceding document against which, you were trying to post the Goods Issue ?
  2. Did you check whether the stock is available with Special Stock Indicator "Q".
  3. Through which transaction, you were creating the delivery ?

If its in a normal stock then transfer the same material to Project stock first, then create a reservation with ref to the WBS code, and issue the same., or you can directly issue the material on WBS using movement type 221

this should work.
