Error 50406 faced , How to re trigger RFC call Step ?

Hello ,

I'm trying to send the SafetyStockRequirement data from IBP to APO. In doing that , I'm facing error 50406 which is - "Bad system message calling RFC Functional Module In APO via CPI-DS task " . On checking the monitor log we identified that the failing step is the RFC call step. So my query is that once the RFC call step has failed , is it possible to re trigger the RFC call step after a few minutes ?
