How to use substitution parameters in CPI-DS in datastores ?

I am trying to setup a connection from CPI-DS to Azure Data Lake. I have created a datastore of type: "File Location Object". As per the official documentation of this datastore, it is given by SAP that I can use substitution parameter in the field: "Remote path prefix" so that I can read the files from the desired folder dynamically using a substitution parameter. My question is, how can I even use substitution parameter and how can I use this parameter in a "task" or a "data flow" ?

In the below screenshot, I basically would like to replace the static value: "test/cpids" with a substitution parameter
