When executing the valuation posting (transaction RECEEP), the error message REEXAA 027 'Indicator 'Deactivate Asset' set for asset transaction type 200' is raised.

The error message REEXAA027 'Indicator 'Deactivate Asset' set for asset transaction type xxx' had been introduced with SAP Note 2989121-Check for retirement posting and 'Deactivate Asset' indicator.

Reason: For asset transaction types that perform retirement postings of the valuation, the indicator 'Deactivate Asset' must not be set since another assets posting may need to be possible at a later point in time in some circumstances. The RoU assets are deactivated after final termination of the leasing contract relationship via the report transaction RECEASSETDEACT. For further information, see consulting SAP Note 2568784

Solution:

It is necessary to create new asset transaction types that are dedicated to be used for retirement postings for lease assets.
