Hi,
I have a requirement. I have composite Tiles with the data source and I need to use this tile in my application and filter the Tiles through the application's filter (filter panel). This means that when I run my dashboard, it displays the Tiles(composite with datasource), Then, I click on the filter panel and select the dimension member. After this, all of the tiles (composite) will be filtered.
Please advice me on how to achieve this requirement.
Hi Asif,
If you want to share the state of data-sources (e.g. the filter state) between a component and the application, then the ownership of the data-source is in the application and the data-source is passed into the component via an “interface property” of the component. You can then assign the FilterPanel from within the application, the composite can use the same data-source for any kind of visualization.
Please see my description in a previous post for more details in how to do this:
Best, Martin
