SAP CPI to BTP NEO Document Service

Hi All,

I am looking into the possibility of storing documents in SAP BTP NEO document service using CPI.

So far I have seen that Document Service is OpenCMIS which uses Apache Chemistry.
The examples all seem to take the approach that a java application is build on top of document service for storing documents.

I just want to connet CPI to it and store documents.
Has anyone ever done this? The documentation talks about the OpenCMIS API, but I do nit really see a description of this API and am wondering if this can be consumed by CPI at all.

Thanks

Tom

Dear t.vanrooijen,

I've not yet had experience with the mentioned product. In the past I've come across OpenText. The respective integration can simply be setup using OAC0 settings within your ABAP stack. The respective technology generally refered to is ArchiveLink. As this technology facilitates HTTP based communication the integration can of course be integrated using Cloud Integration. Keep in mind to also customize the respective business object relating processing via OAC2 and OAC3.

Best regards

FCD

Hi Tom,

Since Neo Document Service offers CMIS APIs it can be easily connected from CPI.

To enable HTTP access for these CMIS APIs you need to deploy a simple CMIS Proxy in BTP account.

However please note you are encouraged to use the successor of Neo Document Service which is SAP Document Management Service in BTP CF.
