We have a requirement for managing data marketing contacts. The contact data will come form different sources like web site and other digital marketing/CRM applciations. The contact data will include name, address, phone, email, company name, permission/suppression and other information. We are looking for a central applciation to create, maintain and distribute this data.
I was wondering of anyone has experience of managing such data in MDG (on S/4HANA) using. My thought was that can we use customer master using special account group to maintain this small set of attributes for a contact. This customer account group will allow you to maintain only general data (no sales area company code data required here). I have used this approach for maintaining prospects in SAP and was wondering if we can use a similar approach for (marketing) contacts?
