SAP Commerce Cloud integration 2105 with Emarsys - Development task

We are looking for (1) consent management (subscribe/unsubscribe) and (2) sending newsletters email. I believe, with SAP commerce cloud 2105, the integration enables with less development effort to do so. Is there any other document/guidance for the above mentioned integration topics (1) & (2) from developers perspective?

Hi pankajkumars - I have some answers for you...

1) Opt-in - the plug-in syncs contact and commerce data in real time from SAP CC to Emarsys, and syncs opt-in data in both directions. This is all set up when you install the plug-in, so there is no developer effort required. If you have any specific requirements in this regard, please let us know and maybe we can extend the documentation for you.

2) Newsletters - the plug-in also lets you send events to Emarsys that will trigger emails or other automated messages and this is covered in the documentation. But these are triggered messages rather than newsletters. Again, if you have any specific use cases which you cannot see listed, please let us know.

Generally speaking, the plug-in is based on the standard features of SAP CC, namely API, webhooks and outbound sync, and is designed to be plug-and-play with no additional development effort. If you do have use cases outside this, the API documentation on both sdes should suffice, but as I said we'd be happy to add any use cases you have in mind to the docs.
