Project management - Service x Team member grey out

Hi SAP Experts,

I wonder if someone has already had a few service x team members grey out on the project management > work tab, even though there were no actuals for the appropriate row?

I believe ByD has only one rule to restrict modification/deletion on the work tab:

  • If the team member has entered actual work (active or approved time).

Here are a few examples:

Note: All services are defined as "PBTM - Service - time and material (project)" under the item time

I would appreciate it if anyone could share the reason for this and if it is possible to delete those unnecessaries rows.

Regards,

Pedro Muller

Hi Pedro,

Even if the documents are cancelled or rejected that means system has used those Services in these documents thus deleting this services will leave the documents in In consistent status so i believe it many not be possible to allow you to delete the services in Project.

Thank you

Hi everyone,

I submitted an Idea to the SAP portal for my question/case.

Here is the link: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/idea/283152 - Title: Enable the deletion for Service x Team member without actual hours under Project management-Work tab.

Thank you,

Hi Deena,

I appreciate your reply.

The standard behaviour, to grey out those rows if there is a PPreq or PO, makes a lot of sense on my opinion. I would just put an if clause here; only if those documents are not rejected or canceled. I believe this is what is happening on this project.

I will create an incident to verify my case and I will post here their reply.

Once again, thank you for your insides.
