Hello,
We are trying to create balance sheet and P&L reports in SAC, based on S4HANA Standard CDS views (our system is the SAP S/4HANA 1909 On-Premise with embedded BW without any BI CONT installed) and we are using Live Data Connection.
The standard CDS view we are using is C_Trialbalanceq0001 with query 2CCFITRIALBALQ0001.
We build a table with G/L Account hierarchy properties and saved the story.
What is happening is when we reopen the story the selected hierarchy disappears and field G/L Account Hierar isn’t a hierarchy anymore.
Can please someone tell us why this is happening and how we can fixed?
Hi margarida_castro,
I would recommend you to open a ticket to SAP on it. Look likes a bug to me.
Best regards, William

Hi, I already solve this problem. I was using a wrong GL account field, I was using the GL account hierarchy field and i should use the "normal" GL account field.

Hi Margarida,
I have also noticed this behavior for backend S/4HANA 1909 (initial pack) On-premise. As recommended by William, open a ticket to SAP.
Since you are using Live data connection, as an alternative you can leverage existing hierarchies available in the S/4HANA (e.g. FSV, GL Account Hierarchies etc). Those should be already available for selection in the SAC Story, under hierarchies drop down list of G/L Account dimension.
For setting up new hierarchies in S/4HANA, you can use Fiori app "Manage Global Accounting Hierarchies" Or "Manage Flexible hierarchy" (for PC/CC Master data hierarchies).
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Swapnil
