Hi Experts,
I am new to SAP Project systems.
We have a requirement where we need to establish the scope of the development to manage the SEGMENT using User fields.
Could you please help me how this can be achieved?

Adding custom attributes to PS objects can be achieved using either User Fields or Customer Defined Fields.
SAP delivers 12 user fields out of the box. These fields are given descriptions from the User Field Profile defined in configuration. That is the quick and dirty way of doing it. The downside is there are no controls around these fields they are open. A Customer Exit can be implemented to control these fields such as giving them a drop down list.
Then there are Customer Defined fields which are defined in a Customer Exit. Here you can define and control as many fields as you wish. Most customers use this option.
