Hi All,

Is it possible to get the details from which device the SAC Story/Analytical Application was viewed?

Hi Sayed,

This information is captured during your browser session. In the request headers you can find things like:

  • sec-ch-ua: " Not A;Brand";v="99", "Chromium";v="100", "Google Chrome";v="100"
  • sec-ch-ua-mobile: ?0
  • sec-ch-ua-platform: "Windows"

I'm not sure if this data is also collected by SAP when SAC is collecting data which is used to display statistics in the SAP Analytics Cloud - Administration Cockpit.

Perhaps thomas.fery can answer this question?

Kind regards,

Hi Sayed, foekenm,

this information is not yet exposed through any of the Performance or Admin Models.

I have it on my list now and update the blogs once we were able to include it.

Thanks,

Thomas

Thanks thomas.fery foekenm

Yes it is much needed info to know from which devices the stories/AA were accesed from.

It would be great if these details are included in the Admin Cockpit.

As far as I know, this is not possible by default.

Through Analytics designer and scripts, you can find out from which device the dashboard / report is opened, but there is no way to record it somewhere as a history of users.
