Hello,
In our brownfield project, we have converted customers/vendors to Business partners in ECC as a pre-requisite and ECC upgraded to S/4 HANA.
Now we need to see how converting customers/vendors will Impact exchange of BP with C4C service and commerce cloud.
questions are as follows :
1) Are Business partners sent to C4C service from S/4 or do we receive Business partners from C4C ? Is it two way exchange of Business partners ?
2) What functional settings we have to change (configuration etc) so that BP gets exchanged with C4C properly. Any blogs/articles on exchange of BP with C4C/Commerce cloud when ECC is upgraded to S/4 and customers/vendors converted to BP? There are some blogs but they dont mention any S/4 functional settings for BP
3) what is the relevance of this note below ? Actually Outbound idoc DEBMAS_CFS from ECC to C4C is not existing any more in S/4 HANA . what is the alternative for DEBMAS_CFS idoc ? Client does not want to use SOAP service !

Hi Sachin,
1) That can be configured in Business Configuration. We do support replication from S/4->C4C, C4C->S/4 and even bidirectional
2) Basically you have to use different interfaces on both C4C and ECC (S/4) side. On C4C side you need to create Comm. Arrangements for BP replication and you can delete the old ones for ERP integration. You can find all details in this blog: https://blogs.sap.com/2018/09/20/s4hana-conversion-with-integration-to-sap-cloud-for-customer/
3) on S/4 side replication happens based on a SOAP webservice. IDOC's or any other means are not supported in standard
