Hi experts,
We need to maintain the employee names in SAP Business ByDesign in two languages - English and Bulgarian separately as the alphabets are different. We need to print out the employee names in the output documents correctly in the respective language. Is there a standard way to do this?
Thanks!

Hello Mariana,
Sorry I missed your comment.
I need to check this. But I think we have option in Livecycle Designer for the field of type Text to bind also the language Code.
If Bulgarian form is still bound with Language code EN then even if you have maintained the Cyrilic text, it will continue to show the English names.
what you can do is : Create the document ( For example : Purchase order) and release the same. In the output history tab of the purchase order, Click on view data XML. Analyse this XML structure (this is used to generate the form) and in this XML, you should see the details like language code that is assigned to the text.
Example :
<PersonGenderName languageCode="BG">Cyrilic</PersonGenderName> or you would see
<PersonGenderName languageCode="BG">English/Latin</PersonGenderName>
using this you can modify the form to display the Bulgarian text or Cyrillic texts.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Harshal

Thanks, Harshal,
It works as far as I can maintain the business partner data in latin and cirylic scripts.
Now as I want to display the Cyrillic names in the Bulgarian version of an output document, how can I achieve this? It is not working by default I still see only the latin names in the English and Bulgarian version of the output.
Best regards,
Mariana
