Dear Experts,
Is it possible to display data when no data is applicable? For example, in a Bex query, it would show no data. How can it be possible to display the whole struture of chars and KF columns as in the case when there is data? That means, when there is no data, this is shown:
Char1 Char2 KF1 KF2
ABC DEF 0 0
or in this format
Char1 Char2 KF1 KF2
ABC DEF 'no data' 'no data'
Many thanks,
Suzie
Hi Suzie,
create a multicube on cube & infoobject & use char from infoobjects when creating queries.
hope it helps

Hi Suzie,
The problem is that in a Cube you only find the records related to a transaction/movement (invoice, PO, ...). If the Master Data, for example Customer Fernando, has never bought something you will never find Fernando in your Cube.
A Cube only see what happens from the point of view of Transaction and Movement.
Ciao.

Dear Gurus,
I went through the guides you provided. Very interesting but I'm still not sure to which result does your solution refer to :
Output Scenario A:
=====================
Char1 Char2 KF1 KF2
ABC DEF 0 0
or in this format
Output Scenario B:
====================
Char1 Char2 KF1 KF2
ABC DEF 'no data' 'no data'
Seems like by using master data, the suggested solution is to enable scenario B where KF is shown as Text. Can I say its possible because of constant selection?
Assuming scenario B, does it mean I must set for char1 and char2 in order display above?
Many thanks,
Suzie
hi Suzie,
check the scenario in this doc

hope this helps.

Hi Suzie,
I think the only way to obtain this is to introduce in a Multicube the Cube and the Master Data (IO translated in an Inforovider) corresponding. Logically it is possible only if you have few Master Data to introduce in the query and in the Multicube.
If the different Master Data are related you can try to build an ODS feeded with the corresponding MD and ut this ODS in the Multicube.
Ciao.
