Hi,
First post / new member - apologies if I'm doing this wrong.
SAP PowerDesigner seems to support Snowflake, but the Reverse Engineering option is not importing some table/ column properties. It gets the table and column information but misses the FK and column length precision.
Here's what I'm doing:
- Open PowerDesigner (version 16.7 SP03)
- File->Reverse Engineer->Database
- Choose DBMS = Snowflake
- Provide ODBC credentials to my Snowflake
- Select my tables from the Database Reverse Engineering list of database tables
- They import
- Open a table and go - None of the FKs are imported neither column length precision
Is this a known bug/limitation with Snowflake reverse engineer?
If so, is there a patch? I need to do a reverse engineering for our Snowflake data warehouses, and we need a full Reverse Engineer capability to minimize manual interventions and validation.
If not, what am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Hassan
