Using Partner Directory/TPM in non EDI interfaces in SAP CPI

Hi All,

Our client landscape is having multiple partners(more than 20) who will be sending text files of same format including sales order data using AS2 protocol. CPI will post the data to S4 Hana.

All the partners will use different AS2 ID, hence separate iFlow needs to be developed as we need to provide partner AS2 ID in sender AS2 adapter.

Is there a way to develop generic/common iFlow which can accept files from all partners using partner directory or TPM? In this way, no need to develop new iFlow in future when a new partner gets onboarded, rather just to update partner directory or TPM.

Waiting for inputs.

Regards,

Praveen

Hi Marton,

As TPM is very new and we have added the capabilities to our Integration Suite.

Could you please tell how to create a B2B scenario using Trading Partner Management flow in SAP CPI?

I am trying to create a B2B scenario using Trading Partner Management flow in SAP CPI. I have defined the company details and Partner's details in TPM. But how to do connection and can check in B2B Monitor tab that message is interchanged. Please help. Thanks

Hello Praveen, would be great to have a sync in a call where you could ellaborate more in Detial your planned scope and in that session the TPM capabilities could be shared with you as well.
Please contact me via mail and we could arrange a meeting.

Thanks & Regards,

Marton

Hello Praveen,

I have seen this kind of scenarios implemented years ago with the Partner Directory feature of Cloud Integration. It works like a charm but there is no UI for it.

But... we have just released the "Trading Partner Management" feature in the Integration Suite too. Keep in mind it is a new feature so you may want to check if it is doing what you want (sounds like it does) and it will require you to use Integration Advisor.

Hope this helps for now!

Hi Sven,

Thanks for quick reply. Partner Directory or Trading Partner Management both can be used where we have multiple trading partners at the receiving end and we can dynamically select the receiver URL and certificates stored in PD/TPM using sender/receiver ID details from source payload.

In our case, we have single receiver, S4 Hana. Can you please let me know how we can implement TPM in our scenario? Also, please note, we wont receive sender/receiver ID details in payload as its non EDI message exchange.

Regards,

Praveen.
