Group Reporting Data Monitor: Due to the latest upgrade, no ledger could be assigned to this version

Hi Experts,

we are working on a group reporting ON PREMISE 2020, SP 01 (02/2021) FP.

As suggested by SAP, we installed Best Practices as a starting point. After the installation, I checked the Data Monitor and everything was working correctly. I created a company (correctly I would say) and the Data Monitor was still working. After that, I created the Consolidation Group, as per the manual, and loaded the mapping between GL Account and FS Item, then I tried to access the Data Monitor and it returned the following error message:

"Due to the latest upgrade, no ledger could be assigned to this version.The master data is incorrect and therefore you can’t use this version.Please contact SAP to solve this issue."

We used all the predelivedered Master Data (Consolidation Ledger, Version, Consolidated Chart of Account).

Has anyone faced this issue before?

Did you log the issue at SAP support as the error message suggests?

I believe the ledger is no longer applicable. That means the version cannot be linked to a ledger anymore. I would try to save the version again to store it without link to the ledger and check if it works afterwards.

thank you for your answer.

I tried to delete the ledger from the version, but the system doesn't let me do it. Moreover, I need the ledger to distinguish the accounts principle: IFRS from Local GAAP.

I tried to search for a note, but I didn't find any.

I'm facing this issue too.

I have tried implement https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/3016710.

But, status cannot be implemented.

Any ideas?

Did you find a way to import this note in your system? We have the same issue as we are on a S/4Hana 2021 and the OSS note 3016710 is only applicable for S/4Hana 2020

We raised an incident to SAP and we are waiting an answer from them,
