I have added a field in PR line item customer Tab, and i have mad it mandatory in screen itself, but it will not give error even if i do not enter the field however it will give error if i visit the customer tab and still keep it blank which is a bug for my requirement
You may have deigned customer fields with customer Tab and for this you too can design custom message along with custom message number.

I understand but my concern over here is bit different, what i mean to ask is unless i visit to the customer tab in PR it will not capture the field status as empty and will not through any error, though i have made the field mandatory in screen itself by selecting it as required entry.
