Return block stock to vendor

Hi,
I want to return defect stock to vendor. The stock already transfer from unrestricted to block stock.

As per I had learn, we need to issue PO return (ME21N) then using MIGO to transfer by using Goods Issues & Movement type 124.

But when I want to do the transaction had pop up [Purchase order ****** does not contain items for a stock transfer].

Why i can't do the transaction?

Anyone please help me

Hi,

If you have generated Return PO with Return PO Flagged set then you can do MIGO with movement type - 161 instead of 124.

Hi,

One thing to clarify that 161 is used for returns against a purchase order whereas 124 is to returm material from GR block stock

For returns against purch order - when u recieve goods by Mvt 101 the return material itself gets posted by 161 as issued to vendor

whereas fr GR blovk stock - u recieve material by Mvt type 103 that is a non valuated stock and u return it from there via 124 . GR block stock is non valuated

To achieve something in SAP, there are several ways to do as for your requirement you can do Goods Return to vendor via movement type 122 through MIGO and print the challan via MB90.
