block outbound delivery creation on item level

Hello expert,

In our system the sales order would be created to outbound delivery automatically in certain defined schedule. But sometimes we want to manually allocate the stock to orders, due to parts availability issue. Therefore, we want to know:

Is there a way to excluded these material number from the auto jobrun (sales order -> outbound delivery)? such as change on material master level, or mass change on sales order item level?

Thanks for your help

Best regards,

Shoupeng

You can set delivery block at item level which you can see in schedule line tab

Hi @damlf

One way to achieve it could be to check the variant used for the batch job at first place. In the variant for the transaction VL10*, go to 'Material' tab and then under the material selection field, try to exclude the required material selection, so that system would not create a delivery for the excluded material.

Thanks

Hi Sreemohan,

Thanks a lot for checking

Problem is the variant is a default setting which has been written in the background jobrun. Usually it is not feasible for us to change it

Do you know any alternative solution?

Hi @damlf,

Did you check in SM37, which is the background job and what is the 'Parameters' value inside the 'Step'?
