differences bn MI2.5 SP15 &SP16

Hai!

I need to know the diffrences between Mobile Infrastructure 2.5 SP 15 patch and MI 2.5 SP 16 patch.

Like the improvements of SP16 over SP15..Is there any document furnishing these differences..Kindly help me in

this issue.

The main features of SP 16 ,

1) Parallel Backend Data Replication

T51 Replication Parallelization

2) Alternative patching using smaller archives:

Standard patches contain all corrections since MI 2.5 Client SP09. Therefore the standard patch archive size is currently XX MB. Starting with SP16, smaller patches can be used as an alternative to patch the MI 2.5 client WITHIN one SP. A smaller patch only contains corrections made since the last SP

SAP NetWeaver 2004 SP Stack 16 will contain several new MI functionalities in the area

1)AGS Sync Performance & Status Monitors

Smart Sync Replication Monitor

2)Config Template for MI

Besides the feature listed above, SP Stack 16 also contains the new features for device management, device setup, monitoring and data synchronization. As SAP NetWeaver 2004 is already in mass shipment, SAP is piloting these new features with selected customers to ensure high product quality. The pilot program will begin with the shipment of SAP NetWeaver 2004 SP Stack 15. Applying SP Stack 16 will not affect the existing mobile tools or runtime.

Hi,

There wont be much of a difference except some extra roles might be added in sp16.

You can find these documents in the marketplace.
