Disassembly order to change serial numbered items

If I receive a material that does not belong to the company, just to repair a component that has a serial number, is it mandatory to give it entry in some warehouse of our system to create a disassembly order to be able to change a piece that has for example a serial number?

What would be the correct way? Zero price entry in a disassembly warehouse, create a disassembly production order .....(Disassembly order Production?) ?

Although the article is not ours, is the 'Recipt Components' and 'Issue for Production' required?
