SAP IBP Mass role Transport thru Software Collection

We're using IBP Software collection to export business roles from one tenant to another. For a role to appear in the software collection, there must be an existing change or a 'dummy change' in the role. What is the easiest way to create a 'dummy change' to "regenerate" the roles and transport it across the landscape? (Assuming there are 50+ roles and are not yet added to any Software Collection)

Follow-up question: if the roles were already added in the Software collection and we would want to re-transport the roles from Dev to Prod for whatever reason, is 'dummy change' required assuming the roles have the 'no changes exist' status? Or was there an option in the Export Software Collection app to check role inconsistencies (new objects brought up by upgrade etc...)
