Material Master

Good Morning ,

When I am creating a material can not appear material field in Home tab How can i resolve that

This are the images of home page

Whit out my interference it is automatically creating the material number.

Please give any advice related to this.

In your material creation ,material number /material code not appearing in material view/s but beside material description field is very much visible?

There is no issue on material creation and based on number range set up for your material type on material master creation , the new material is /are created but for your case with your user ID when you try to create a new material the field of material number /material code RMMG1-MATNR is not visible. You need to refer your project document/s and try to gain knowledge on business background of your material master screen nature/behavior with material view/s when a new material number /material code is created!

A material number is generated once you pass the initial screen of the MM01 transaction and subsequent pop ups to choose views and organizational levels (your first screen shot). You can see the internally assigned material number in your second screen shot:

You need to be more specific about your problem. I've explained where you can see the assigned material number during material master creation. What else do you need?

This depends on what kind of material number range is assigned to your material type. In your case, probably the number range assigned is internal which means that material number is generated automatically based on material type. Hello

You need to be specific. I have already shared you a blog detailing on how number can be internal or external for a material type. You need to work with your business owner to check if the material number should be internal or external depending on your requirement. If you are a business user, than work with an IT Colleague to set this as per your requirement, since this is a back end set up to be done by an IT Colleague
