Describe SAP in a culinary way.


It may be impossible, but please let me know what you think.

Consider a KITCHEN in a 5-Star Hotel,

The Kitchen has the following things

1. A Cook , a sos chef etc

2. Many Utensils like Knives, Ladles, Spoons, etc

3. Appliance like food processor, grater, oven, OTG, chopper, grinder,

4. Cooking space/table etc.

The Chefs in the kitchen prepare all types of cuisines

1. Korean

2. Malaysian

3. India

4. West Asian

5. Mediterranean etc. etc you get the point.

All these cuisines have Appetizers, Starters, Main Courses, Desserts.

Chilly Potato, Manchow Soups, Butter Chicken, Pies etc etc.

Now can there be a analogy of this to SAP.


If SAP is the 5-Star Hotel.

And the developers and consultants are the chefs and managers

and SAP Net Weaver is the Kitchen(The kitchen has evolved to be capable of doing much more and serving much more)

Then the Oven, Food Processors are what?????

What is the recipe analogous to ????

What are the cuisines analogous to???

What are the ingredients analogous to??

What does This kitchen's tie up with food delivery service mean.?

Or this question does not even make sense
