How to bifurcate the data from table SOFFCONT1 ?

Hi,

Business would like to know what are the contents available in table SOFFCONT1 and need analysis on objects in this table per type and amount of line items.

But there is no any field available to differentiate the data for different document types. Can you please help in this?

There are OSS notes about this table.

This is the place where you store most of the document if you do not specify a content server.

Most of the time, it is the documents put in the GOS (the icon at the top left in some transaction).

Check OAM1 trans.

I am not sure another way, are you clearing the old data from table SOFFCONT1?

you can reduce the table size from the following SAP Note 1634908,

You could create an external Content Server to store document, and switch the content of the SOFTCONT1 to the Content Server. This is not an easy task, this is a project.
