Dear Experts,
Although there is quite some documentation about the new Content Server 7.5, I still have the impression, that
a lot of important stuff is not really explained.
I keep asking myself - how does the Content Server application know how to connect to the MaxDB database.
When installing both products (which now happens through 2 separate executions of SWPM), there is no screen,
where one could configure a connection to the database.
And I also keep asking myself - isn't it necessary to create a DB connection to the MaxDB database from SAP ?
Many thanks for any clear and brief replies 🙂
Dear Symon,
I have also similar question; I have recently upgraded content server 650 to 753.
Old content server 650 is using MaxDB database for content storage.
Now after 753 upgrade the new content server unable to connect to MaxDB database and cannot access existing repositories.
Did you find any document or help on how new content server connects to exiting MaxDB database?.
Many thanks for any help here.
Regards,
Balaji Banothu
