CA Wanting to be SAP FICO Consultant

I am non SAP financial consultant looking to switch to SAP FICO module

Need help on - How do go I about learning FICO module, can it be done without joining any classes through books or tutorials available online? Are there any demos / testing platform that I can get access to? Are there good books/ websites for beginners
