SAP & OpenText can't display TIF files.

Hi,

When users viewing invoices in SAP, TIF type files cannot be displayed. It always downloads this file instead of previewing it directly. It doesn't seem to recognize the type of this file, However, some computers can preview TIF files. I didn't find any difference. I'm not sure what software is missing?

SAP GUI 7.70 and OpenText Imaging Windows Viewer 16.0 all installed successfully. If you have this experience, please tell me how to solve it, thank you!

Hello

The file is shown as 'Unknown file type'. Are you sure that the image is a tiff file ?

Yes, it is a TIFF file. It works fine for some users opening it in the SDV Document Viewer and then other users get the popup to open the file like the screenshot above.

First check Content repository Protocol configured correctly. You need to maintain TIFF file format explicitly in Archivelink protocol under Display Store Document. In addition to this add below parameter -DContentDispositionType=none in Java options of Tomcat of Archive Server followed by restart of Tomcat service

Hope this will resolve your issue

Shashi
