Why ‘pricing model’ was restricted as 'std pricing' for T/C for bothsides

When check SAP native config, it found that 'using of pricing procedure' in T/C Type setting was set as 'Std Pricing' and not changable, for the T/C type for bothsides, such as '0001' or '0004'. Actually, we need to transfer procurement final price to the base of sales pricing, which follows retail pricing rule. In current situation, we have to do some enhancements for condition types to figure it out?

Hi Frank,

with S/4HANA GTM is part of the S/4HANA Core. It was shipped from day one of S/4HANA. But the retail functions came far later into the game. So in the beginning, sales pricing wasn't in the system and therefore was deactivated. If you are already using sales pricing, you will still get support, but as stated in the warning "Sales Pricing will no longer supported for new Trading Contract Types within Trading Contract Processing".

To bring the purchase condition to the sales side you should use the profit simulation. It allows you the calculate to expected profit on the fly.

If you still want to use the sales pricing for some reason, you can copy e.g. trading contract type 0003 or 2001 and adapt them for your needs.

I hope that helps

Peter
