how to update the vensionde hana 1.0 to hana 2.0?

we are trying to update our hana 1.0 to version 2.0 since version 1.0 will no longer be supported but when we try to update it throws us this error.

When an Update corresponding to version 2 of HANA is selected, it shows a warning indicating that this version is only possible for Tenants of HANA HANAMDC (Multitenant) and I understand that our Tenant is HANA XS (Single Database).

How can we update our hana systems considering that 1.0 will no longer have support?

They should not be affected. Check also this blog. Here you can also read:

- the existing content is indeed still available after you convert de database

- The newly created database maintains the original data and has the original port configuration

Please read the documentation before starting the project. In any case it's a good approach to always get a full backup before any maintenance, upgrade, etc. is carried out.

Before upgrading to HANA 2.0, you need to convert the single DB to MDC (multi database container).

Follow the steps as guided in HELP SAP documentation.

Please check while operating a single container system, follow the instructions as per Note 2372809 and upgrade to SPS 12.
