Unable to update custom fields for PR added through extensibility registry - SCFD_REGISTRY

We have added new fields for PR through extensibility registry transaction - SCFD_REGISTRY which gets added in table EBAN in EBAN_INCL_EEW_PS, but we are not able to use this field in BAPI_PR_CHANGE to update this field through program as we know its extensionin structure do not support fields added in other than CI_EBANDB, so do we have any other solution or ways on how to update this custom fields thru BAPI or any other method.
