VL 605 E The batches are not defined for delivery item

Dear experts,

I have already created Batch Using MSC1N and also I have Posted it using MB1C Using Movement type 561 and Special Stock Indicator E .

The same batch is coming against the material number in msc5n tcode.

What could be possible reason for the subject errror being

Did you try maintaining manually in vl01n, the required batch number? For information, system will allow you to post the goods issue if the field CHARG in LIPS table is filled with batch.

I have followed the below process in the delivery documents

1) Selected the line item and clicked the batch split button and entered the batch that i created using MSC1N and posted it through the MB1C then saved the documents.

While doing the pgi i got thre errors out of which two were related to picking which got resolved as suggested by you in the previous post.

The next error is batch not defined.

Also what do you mean by the CHARG Field in lips table. I tried with se16n lips table where I found one column Batch which was filled with batch.

Please let me know what should be done now.

The Issue is now resolved I just needed to set the delivery qty of main Item to 0 and set the required value for the batches
