Need to remove double quotes of the field names from the csv file -

Hi All

I am using xml.processFieldNames as fromFile ( i could not change this). I have seen in few blogs - with java mapping we could remove the double qoutes but, no idea how to proceed further. Could any one please let me know, is there anyway to remove the double quotes for the fieldnames - If recommends java mapping please let me know, step by step process and also the code.

My scenario is file to RFC.

PI 7.5

Mapping involved.

  • Does anyone have a idea, how to eliminate the doublequotes from the element-names?
  • Is there any bean to erase characters from the datastream?
  • Java Mapping step before the graphical mapping to eliminate the doublequotes in the nodenames?

    Hi Pramod,

    Look into the below link:

    https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/44/682bcd7f2a6d12e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm

use xml.enclosureSign=" and xml.enclosureSignEsc="" to remove the quotations from the fields.

Hope this is what you are looking for.

    Thanks

    Sai

Thanks Sai for your kind response - the above parameters which you have mentioned will work for field values but not for the field names.

    Hi Pramod!

You could develop some adapter module to remove unwanted quotes in column names and use it before MessageTransformBean.
