Hello I am interested in becoming a SAP data archiving analyst
I have worked with SAP systems before with my father who's an architect in SAP
I did archiving with HANA, SE02, TANA and more
But didn't really understand it much just that I knew how to archive it
is there a training course out there I can take
or anyone who I can shadow I really want to learn this
Hello Peter Shin,
Here are 2 links to books on data archiving and ILM:
Archiving SAP Data—Practical Guide

SAP Information Lifecycle Management

Best regards,
Andreas

There is a nice Data Volume Management wiki: https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/TechOps/Data+Volume+Management
BIT660 is the Data Archiving Virtual class: https://training.sap.com/course/bit660-data-archiving-classroom-012-us-en/?
and there is a great SAP Support Data Volume Management Data Value Map: https://support.sap.com/en/release-upgrade-maintenance/value-support/quick-values-data-volume-manage...
