Can't add a Resource to Internal Project

Dear experts,

Please could you kindly help us with this issue:

We have created an Internal Project using Create Internal Projects app (F1656).

We now need to assign a Resourse to Work Packages:

But when we try to add a Resourse there is no one available to pick up for an assignement.

We have created several empoyees for this assignement using Import Employee app.

Employees are assigned to the same Service Organization as Project (Combination of Cost Center & Company Code)

All created Employees have Service Cost Level Assignement.

Please could someone kindly help us to understand why cant we assign those Employees as a Resourse to Internal Project?

Hi Daria,

It looks like the daily resource availability was not maintained for these resources. This is one of the main reasons (while others could exists as well) for the resource not showing availability.

Please use the api API_MANAGE_WF_AVAILABILITY (https://api.sap.com/api/API_MANAGE_WF_AVAILABILITY/resource) to maintain the availability.

You can look at https://support.sap.com/content/dam/SAAP/SAP_Activate/S4H_468%20Setting%20Up%20Daily%20Availability%... as well.

Is this also the case for EPPM resource assignment? We are using the app "Manage Project Demand" and have created a Resource Demand. However, when trying to assign a resource, none appears. Is it the same logic for EPPM projects with revenue vs Professional Services projects? Thank you.

EDIT: I see the details for EPPM resource assignment can be found in Best Practice Scope Item 4RF (Project Control - Resourcing and Procurement) in the Appendix. Data needs to be imported through templates. Posting here for others.
