Will Actuals will populate with Rolling forecast layout?

Hi All,

I would like to check if actuals will be displayed for rolling forecast type.

for forecast type we will get actuals along with forecast , but for rolling forecast i am not getting how to display actuals.

since i am able to get only forecast values for look ahead , i don't want to use lookback here , is it possible to get actuals with rolling forecast without mentioning look back.

Not sure what's your use case here... Without lookback, means cut over period is always the first period, but then where would you like to show actuals? How should forecast and actual data been displayed for different periods?

use case is, when we select period e.g Sept 2021 then we need to forecast for some particular period(say for 18 months) , then we select period sept 2021, then 18 months(i.e Feb 2023) till should display as forecast along with Jan 2021 to Aug 2021 actuals as well, so total 8 months actuals + 18 month forecast in one table.

is it possible?

If it's always 8 months actuals + 18 month of forecast with no month overlap, then it's a typical rolling forecast layout.
