Defining an Upgrade Cadence for S/4 Hana OnPremise

Hi,

We are currently implementing S/4 Hana at a greenfield site. We are not live yet but want to set out a cadence for upgrading S/4 so that we stay up to date and get the business in the mindset that we do regular upgrades rather than when their is a specific business driver. There is already some resistance on this due to bandwidth but as we all know there is always a reason not to upgrade.

What is SAP's official recommendation on how often you should upgrade an S/4 system? This is not a question on the release cycle for FP's and SP's or what is the max length of time you can leave between upgrades. I am trying to get SAP's opinion on best practice.
