Ariba- Inventory Procurement Process

Hello All,

We are currently in discovery phase of Ariba implementation and we are trying to get some answerers for procurement of inventory using Ariba Purchase request or Purchase order process. We extensively use ECC MM and we have over 150k inventory items. Our questions are,

1) Is it possible to request for inventory items using Ariba purchase request or procurement of inventory item using Ariba PO and put it in MM stock ? This is just like we do it in MM word using standard inventory account assignment on PR and PO

2) Is it possible to reserve inventory item using Ariba reservation process or using catalog ?

Could you find a solution to your request? It must be possible by maintaining ENABLE_MRO_INVENTORY variable.

If you are implementing or if your service partner implementing ARIBA for your business and if anyone committed having inventory management like ECC MM in ARIBA with quantity and value managed with accounting impact within all transaction postings.
