Find button in Select Filter Value in 0adhoc does not work

Hi,

I am using version 3.5 with SP 7 for the front end.

When i navigate though a report in 0adhoc and right click to select filter value, i get the normal form with the possibility to find a value of that characteristic.

When a type a search sting and click on find i receive no values same goes if a copy the char value and paste it into the inputbox- "Find" doesn't find it.

Any ideas why?

Hi,

It is normal to get the filter dialog with 'select filter value'. Only 'set filter value' will directly set the filter.

Regarding the search:

It only works for key or text, depending on the current display. To be able to search both, you would have to change the characteristic setting to display both as well. Then you get the option to search key or text. And the search behaves a bit different to standard sap searches. Not usind * and case sensitive.
