Outbound Delivery Update using DELVRY07

Hello All,

I have a business requirement to update Outbound Delivery via Inbound IDoc using the basic type DELVRY07.
The fields for update will be received via the idoc and 'VL02n' should be executed in background during idoc processing to update the outbound delivery. What is the best way to achieve this functionality?

Can please someone help me here, I am using message type SHPCON with the function module "IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY" but i am receiving some errors as i need to update the outbound delivery without doing PGI. Is there any way to just update outbound delivery without doing PGI? BDC will be used as a last resort but any BAPI/Function module will be really helpful.
