Add field as document splitting characteristic for General Ledger - S4

Hi Experts,

In one of our clients we would like to define the splitting not just by segment and profit center but also by WBS element. WBS element would need to be defined as new document splitting characteristic for General Ledger as currently is not available.

Could you please guide me on this process? I guess I need to include this field in the coding block. Would that be enough? I do not think so. I have seen some comments that refer to transaction code FAGL_GINS for adding ZZPS_PSP_PNR as the WBS field in table FAGLFLEXT ….. FAGLFLEXT is a compatibility view in S4 and this transaction code does not exist to S4 HANA.
