SAP installation private

Hello all,

I work in international company as a Master Data Specialist in SAP in MM

After work I would like to learn SAP more but for example ABAP or more consultant typical work from tutorials.

Is it possible to install SAP on my private computer for free for learning? I have a test system at my work but I do not have access to all transaction etc.

As a suplement to jmodaal answer, I'd suggest IDES online access. Have a look at the following review of IDES online provider: SAP IDES Those services are not free. Still they are worth considering if you seek to build your SAP functional expertise.

you can get and install a trial installation by following this site: https://blogs.sap.com/2019/07/01/as-abap-752-sp04-developer-edition-to-download/.

In general there is also a version with HANA available here: https://blogs.sap.com/2021/02/15/sap-abap-platform-1909-developer-edition-available-soon/

but due to log4j currently not available. However, the hardware requirements to your computer of the HANA version are higher than for the first mentioned installation (running on ASE). To start with, I would recommend that one.

Please notice, that those installations are "developer editions" i.e. they don't contain any business functionalities like SAP MM Materials Management. They are great for technical people, for ABAPers. However they are of little use for more functionally oriented ones.
