We have a scenario in one of our sapui5/fiori app in which we have a approval process and In the approval we are doing posting to SAP standard API followed by our custom CDS update. When we do the posting to standard API a document number is generated in response which we take and then do the new document number update in the custom CDS. We are using SAP BTP as well for our fiori apps.
I just wanted to confirm if we have any background processing option in which we can do the above steps. And not to wait and do it on frontend.
