Hi community
we are running currently PI 7.5 SP22 using a dual stack installation. As within the next months we are able to retire the last ABAP mapping installed, we want to get rid of the ABAP stack. We also do not use ccBPM - so every config is related to Integrated Configuration only.
So the only two aspects where ABAP stack is still in use is:
Is there a way, w/o installing a new PI Single-Stack system and migrate all 800+ scenarios to debundle the Java stack from the ABAP stack? My idea was to keep the Dev-System as dual-stack (it's hosting the CTS+) and bring QA/PROD to single stack.
Is there any smart guide i can follow?
BR Helmut
Hi Helmut,
I intentionally waited for others to share their experience before answering but obviously there is no such smart guide, I can only share with you the SAP official answer which states that debundling the Java stack from a PI Dual-stack is not supported, the UME is too tightly linked with the ABAP stack, I'm afraid but I do not see any other option than installing a fresh AEX system.
