BAS is stuck in status 'STARTING'

I was developing on SAP BAS until my dev space was no longer accessible (timeout). So I tried to start my dev space and it is now stuck in "STARTING" status. I was able to create / start / stop another space, but the original one does not change status. I can't use the new one because I have two days of un-push developments on github. How can I restart it without losing data please?
