SAP CAL system - F4 search - Internal error - Table format

Hello,

While navigating in the SAP instance (SAP Gui), if we use the F4 search feature, we get an error message (see below).

"Internal error - Table format"

Is there anybody who has this same issue ? Any idea on how to correct this ?

Best regards,
François

Hi Francois,

I cannot reproduce the error in one of our reference systems.

Could it be an issue with your SAP GUI version ?

I successfully used SAP GUI 7.70 SP4 which is also installed on the remote desktop of the appliance (can you try there ?).

Best, Joerg

Thanks Wolf.

I updated my SAP GUI to this version and the error was resolved.

Use Dialog (modal) F4 setting in SAP

  • Logon to the SAP system in SAP Logon Pad
  • Go to menu 'Help'->'Settings...'F4 Help' tab
  • On the left bottom "Display" Tab , please select 'Dialog (Modal)' radio button
  • Press enter or the green tick mark to save the settings.

Hi Chetan.

Thanks this setting is working fine for GUI 750 Version for S/4HANA 2021. GUI 770 version is running very slow and ending the process in VDI but for windows it is running fine.

Hello Joerg,

indeed, I connected as well through the Remote Desktop option, and I don't have the problem while using the SAP Logon 770 installed there. So my own version level is not high enough apparently.

Thanks for your feedback,

Best regards,

François
