How to troubleshoot report run issues on Sap Boxi

Dear valuable contributors,

My company has 'SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 7 Version: 14.1.7.1853'.

I developed a Crystal report and then deployed it on the SAP web platform.

The reports runs fine under my login and another developer's login.

But when a user X runs the report, he can access and run but he doesn't get the required data returned. There is no error message.

I have used CMC but couldn't find anywhere to look for logged errors:

Does SAP Boxi has any log to search for to troubleshoot this issue ?

I have searched the SAP web site, and even the internet and didn't get any link.

Quite frustrating !!!

Any suggestion is most welcomed.

    The logs are by default in /logging directory , you can change log level in properties of the CR processing servers in CMC>Servers.
    All this is explained in Admin guide for the BI Platform.
    You can also use End to End tracing for even more detailed troubleshooting, see KBA

    Also, if the user can access and run report, but not getting the required data - that's the user access to database issue. I'm guesing the way the report is setup it uses the user's ID to access the DB. If that's the case - then its the DB side, not BI where you need to look for answers.

    Why would there be an error if the user can access and run the report?

    Does the report return blank for that user?
