Missing Service plan subscription?

Hello,
I’m going through tutorials on the SAP BTP and are meeting some challenges that I cannot figure out.These are the services that XAC is subscribing to:

In the tutorial Set Up the SAP HANA Cloud Service ( https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/btp-app-hana-cloud-setup.html ),I’m trying to create a SAP HANA Cloud instance (Step 4).I have a sub account with a space and according to the tutorial I should be able to create my instance here, but the buttons are disabled:

Following the instructions to go to the Entitlements page and assign quotas according to the documentation linked, I get the following challenge:The documentation states these Service Plans as necessary ( Creating SAP HANA Cloud Instances - SAP Help Portal )

By searching for e.g. relational-data-lake, nothing is found:

Please help me to understand and (if relevant) to find the relevant Service Plan to subscribe to or how to purchase what quotas get this correct.

I found the solution myself, and I was right. It had to do with missing subscriptions on my global account Test, Demonstration, and Development. The Services / Entitlements are now available 🙂

1. The Prepare for SAP BTP Development tutorial links to the tutorial Setup the SAP HANA Cloud Service (in the matrix).
2. The Setup the SAP HANA Cloud Service tutorial is where I have the problem. Step 3 - Point 8 says: Choose 8. Manage SAP HANA Cloud in the upper right corner. As you can see this choice is inactive.

4. Going back to Prepare for SAP BTP Development tutorial to enable Entitlements in Step 6 - Assign Entitlements -> point 4. Go through the Entitlements according to the table in the previous step Create a Live Account and add the required plans for each of them.The relevant services are NOT AVAILABLE for me to choose:

Searching with NO result (have tried all kinds of search variants to find the correct plans)

So the whole thing seems recursive to me. I cannot create and instance due to missing entitlements and I cannot choose a Service plan that provides me with the necessary entitlements.

Hi,

For this tutorials we have a section which lists the entitlements you would need, In part 10 of the tutorial 'Prepare for SAP BTP Development' there is a list of entitlements under step 3 (Prepare for SAP BTP Development | Tutorials for SAP Developers).

Specifically for this particular step of the tutorial it mentions that you would need 1 instance of the SAP HANA Cloud service 'hana' plan with an entitlement of '1 instance'.

Please check if this solves your issue.
